Join me for a fantastic photography workshop as we hop across the fascinating chain of islands known collectively as Uist. Learn or improve your photography skills amid some of the most beautiful coastal and landscape scenery that the Outer Hebrides of Scotland has to offer.

Small Groups

All my workshops run with a small number of participants to ensure everyone gets the time and attention they need to learn. In some cases I also run workshops with other photographers.
Included

All my workshops are residential, which means we take care of the accommodation and it’s included in the price. Transport is also included on all workshop days.
Locations

The Outer Hebrides is packed with stunning locations and scenes to photograph. During our workshop we will cover many of the best, most famous and hidden gems.

WHAT YOU WILL PHOTOGRAPH

Bernerary Beach - Uist - Outer Hebrides Photography Workshops — STUNNING COASTAL SCENERY

Uist is a collective of six islands in the Outer Hebrides. On this photography workshop, we will be hopping around the best of them. You will get to photograph a variety of coastal scenery wih miles of empty, endless sandy beaches where wide open skies and distant mountains form a stunning backdrop.

Kisimul Castle - Uist Photography Workshops — HISTORIC SIGHTS

The islands, while remote, still have a fascinating history and there are several interesting historic places to photograph like Kisimul Castle on the Isle of Barra. Sitting on a rock in the middle of the bay, this wonderful medieval castle is just one of many great views.

We all know that the weather in Scotland can be challenging, but its dramatic and unsettled weather is perfect for landscape photography. Moody skies, broken cloud and scattered light are essential ingredients for great minimalist and artist photographs.
