Come and photograph the stunning Northumberland Castles that this remarkable part of the country is so famous for. From breathtaking seascapes to picturesque river scenes, this area truly has it all for every photography enthusiast. I will personally guide you around these captivating locations, and as I was born and raised not far from many of these iconic sites, I have an intimate knowledge of the best spots to showcase their beauty.

All my Northumberland photography workshops are available in small Groups of 4 participants (Max)

Full-day workshops will have a scheduled lunch/tea break. Please bring your own packed lunch and flasks for hot drinks (meals and accommodation can be arranged for Longer Workshops.

Locations
Northumberland is packed with stunning locations and scenes to photograph. During our workshop we will cover many of the best, most famous and hidden gems.
WHAT YOU WILL PHOTOGRAPH
STUNNING COASTAL SCENERY
We will photograph a number of locations such as: Dunstanburgh Castle, Holy Island (depending on tide times etc.) or on the main location of Bamburgh Beach. This particular location is fantastic for learning landscape photography as we have the sea, rocks and sandy beach to work with as we photograph this iconic castle.
PRISTINE SANDY BEACH
This lovely coastline boasts an unspoilt sandy beach offering dreamy sunrises. Here we can work on basic composition and leading lines using shutter speeds to give artistic expression to water. If required, I can provide a set of Kase Filters so you can get the most out of your camera on the day.
EPIC CASTLES
This area of the UK boasts some of the most beautiful and historically significant castles, making them ideal subjects for photography. These magnificent structures have not only captured the imagination of visitors but have also served as stunning backdrops in renowned films like Harry Potter and in beloved television series such as Blackadder. Join me as we explore these spectacular photographic locations, which include the iconic Bamburgh Castle, the charming Alnwick Castle, the picturesque Warkworth Castle, the dramatic Dunstanburgh Castle, and the enchanting Lindisfarne Castle.
